In fact, it is quite surprising to state that March has been filled with calmness and rest. There have been a lot of staff sabbatical times I got to participate in to center life back around God in the busyness of life. It has been a great experience to not only get to know the staff and fellow apprentices outside of the work setting, but to have an importance placed on Jesus amidst the craziness of campus ministry.

Being newlyweds, my husband and I got to go to Branson, Missouri for our honeymoon! It was amazing to slow time in a town full of so much beauty! We got to see a play of David at the Light & Sound Theater, go to Silver Dollar City, and go to the Aquarium!

Coming back to work having rested physically, emotionally, and spiritually showed me the beauty in the unlimited power of God that shines through the limited weakness of the human body. Having the student leader sessions, weekly fellowship nights, and small groups continuing for one last hurrah until May has been an amazing time! I have not only grown fond of the message behind making and maturing disciples but the love that expands to hundreds of people.

Lessons Learned:
Resting with one another is a way of fellowship. This human body is not immortal; in fact, the mortality brings us closer to God! It is important to rest and nourish oneself which in return sustains you to be there for others.
God leads us all to be in different avenues of life. There is so much beauty from the aquarium ticket reader to the rehabilitated sea animals behind the glass. There is so much life behind the modern view we lose the awe to.
Prayer:
I would love prayers on figuring out the next steps ahead!
I would also love prayers on doing the best with what I have been given!
See y’all next time,
Shree Armstrong
