Staff Retreat
I had the privilege of attending staff retreat with the entire FOCUS staff at the beginning of January! We learned a lot about how it looks like to see God, seeing people, loving one another as God loved us! I am grateful to be surrounded by God-fearing and God-loving people who hold each other accountable and keeping seeking Him out!
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another". John 13:34-35
Winter Retreat
We had the privilege of having Marty Solomon from the BEMA podcast over to hold sessions about Belovedness for the students across the DFW Metroplex college campuses!
We learned about how we are human beings who do not need to do anything extra to earn His love; instead, we need to understand that we were sought out first… He loved us first. Our purpose is to simple live in Belovedness!
Something that stood out as Marty went over Genesis with us was this saying:
“I am not loved and valued because of what I do and produce. Should I fall today in large and small ways… it will not affect my worth. I am still worth it! God has found value in me already to the fullest!'“
This tremendously changed my way of thinking and walking with Christ! I kept approaching it as if I had to earn His love, yet I had to understand that no matter what… He has already given all of His love to me. Who else would send their Son to die on the cross for a sinner?

Prayers and Good News!
Ryan and I are getting married by the end of the month and we would love prayers on starting our marriage with God at the center of it all!
Continued prayers for the small group girls to experience the love of God!
I would also love prayers as Ryan and I navigate through where God is calling us as our current jobs come to an end in the upcoming months!
